Bronze Stars - Small Tetraxis
Sold Out
Though the official patent papers describe them as “symmetrical non-Cartesian multiple-axis joining of beams” we’ll stick with stars, thanks, to describe these objects that deftly fuse mathematics and art. Inspired by a speech given by Buckminster Fuller at Brandeis in the 1960s, John Kostick developed these synergic structures. Hand crafted, they are constructed of bronze wire that will gradually oxidize over time, darkening to a rich brown color with the faint green undertone characteristic of the metal. A smart addition to your coffee table or bookshelf.
