Cast Iron Bird Bottle Opener
$28.00
Nambu-tekki (cast iron) was first made in the middle of the 17th century in Iwate, northern Japan, an area rich with the raw material. A traditional craft, it remains popular today. This charming bottle opener features an abstract crow motif and stands upright, creating a mini-sculpture. The characteristic black color is the result of a lacquer glaze called urushi which prevents rust.
