Lodge Oil Lamp

$250.00

Connecticut pewter smith Thomas Danforth II pioneered the craft of pewter making in the United States between 1755 and 1782. Today the tradition is maintained by his descendants in their Vermont workshop, where these oil lamps are handcrafted and finished by using time-honored techniques.

Reminiscent of ships’ lamps but sleek and elegant in form, they glow even when unlit with the characteristic silvery warm tones of pewter. Designed for functional use, the burners and chimneys are of the highest quality. Takes standard lamp oil.
